a lot of：many or much大量的；唤谈许多的（后接可数名词或不可数名词）I'm under a lot of pressure。China does a lot of trade with many countries。It takes a lot of labor to build a railway。I've given the matter a lot of thought。He wasted a lot of time in those years．lots of：He's lots of run。You have lots of time to finish the work. 。Lots and lots and lots of women。This factory churns out lots and lots of cars a day。She has lots and lots of money.。She had lots and lots of friends。He bought lots and lots of new clothes。理论上来说没有明显的区别，都可以接可数名词或者不和猛碰可数名词。但是看常见例句可以发现，lots of 有更多的感情色彩，还有修饰用法“lots and lots of“”，表示非常非常多，a lot of 就没有这种用法。其他没有什么区别，抽象和具体都可以用的。（个人意见，欢迎大家知逗批评指正^__^）
