It is exciting to visit different places. As you travel, you will see beautiful sceneries typical of the region. Besides, you can meet and make friends with people of different colors and races. The main reason why people travel is, perhaps, for pleasure. One of my friends with me went to Xiamen in September before the beginning of this term. We spent 5 days there and slept for 4 nights. Personally, I don’t think that it is a wonderful trip. For me, I spent all of my money which was partially saved from my part-time job during the summer vacation and partially from my parents but found that it was a really tiring trip. Maybe it was out of my personality.
We visited Xiamen University, Gulangyu Island, Riyuegu Hotspring, Zengcuoan, Hulishan Fort, Nanputuo temple，Xiamen Museum, Zhongshan Road and so on. The schedule was so full within this five hot days that my feeling of tiredness far surpassed my enjoyment. But one thing moved me. The air there was fresher than here in Xiasha though above their city floated a layer of haze. I was afraid that one day Xiamen would took the same step as Hangzhou and no blue sky left anymore. So we have to took our environmental problem seriously.
Out of the thought that “Adults should go out to see the outside.”, I agreed this travel to Xiamen. After this travel, however, I found that I didn’t belong to the travel-loving group. Comparing with travelling around, I preferred staying at home more. Thus, I would take my next travel pretty seriously.
Every summer vacation, mom and dad used to take me to travel, we visitedmany places, there are well-known mountains and rivers, lake, village town. I went to three cities to play during last summer holidays. They are Beijing，Dalian and Huhehot.
I went to Beijing more than eight times. Beijing is the capital of China. It’s a big city. I am very familiar with Beijing. It takes an hour and forty minutes from Nantong to Beijing by plane. There are many tall buildings in Beijing. It’s a modern city. My family visited the Great Wall，the Summer Palace，the Palace Museum，the Bahia Park，the Space Museum，etc. I went to the countryside of Beijing to go boating and fishing. It was very interesting. I went shopping in WangFuJing. I bought lots of souvenirs and other things. I like eating Beijing snacks. They are delicious. Don’t mithe Beijing Duck. It is really nice.
Dalian is a beautiful city. Dalian is close to Beijing. I spent 5o minutes on the plane. Dalian is near the sea. I smelled the salty taste in the air. The roads are clean. There are lots of trees and flowers near the roads. There are many esplanades and Japanese buildings. There are some fountains in one of the esplanades. Some people flew kites and walked on the esplanades. We went to see the beach and the sea. The sea is blue. There were many swimmers in the sea. I lay on the beach to see the sky. Dalian is a very nice place to live.
Huhehot is in Inner Mongol. There are lots of large grasslands. The grasslands are endless. The sky is bright blue. There were a lot of horses and sheep. They were running or eating grass. I rode a horse on the garland. I picked some colorful flowers. We drank the tea with milk. There is a small desert；it was very hot when I walked on it. The sand could sing.
These trips helped me open my eyes. I enjoyed my day.

I like traveling, I consider it can broaden my horizons and make my life more colorful. Now going backpacking is becoming more and more popular. As for me, I would prefer to have a package tour.
I am a cautious person. I want everything will follow my plans, So when I decide to go for a trip, I must make a detailed list about the things I would take with me, the flight and accommodation and the trip itinerary. I know going backpacking is more exciting and more free, however, it is likely to meet difficulties. You may not solve problems by yourself and you will be trapped. I don’t want to see the bad condition happen. Therefore , I always prepare for the worst before my trip. So people call it Mountain City. In Chong Qing,I went to the Red Stone Center, to see the places which the prisoners lived in the past. It is a terrible and awful trip. There are a lot of dogs, and soldiers with guns near the prisons. And most of the prisons are good, they didn't want to tell the bad people where the other people were. They lived in very small houses. No good food to eat, no good water to drink.They had only twenty minutes to stay out side per day but they still said nothing.
I think they are the heros in that century. I will follow their spirit.

The other days， I went to some other interesting places， such as the Oriental Bright Pearl TV Tower， the Huangpu River and Shanghai International Conference Centre. I didn’t forget to do my homework in the evening. I had a full and happy holiday.
Last sunday, my friend LiXuan and I took a train to QIng Island. First, We visited the ocean in motion and played many exciting games.
Later, we went to the Buddy Bear restaurant and got some delicious food. Furthermore, We went to the beach and played in the water.
