=Tom spends two hours (in) doing his homework every day.
汤姆每天花两个小时时间做作业。
Mr Smith spent much money on the girl.史密斯先生在那个女孩身上花费了大量的金钱。
She spent the summer holiday by the sea.她在海边度过了暑假。
“花费”的主体不同：
1、spend的主语是“人”。
2、pay的主语是“人”
3、cost的主语是“某物”。
